American Auto Repair

What auto repair businesses in the network do

An honest mechanic is worth more than a new car. Independent auto repair shops in the network diagnose, service and repair cars and trucks with a straight explanation and a written estimate.

• Diagnostics
• Brakes and suspension
• Engine and transmission
• Oil changes and maintenance
• Electrical repair

Credentials to expect from auto repair companies

• State repair facility registration where required
• ASE technician certification
• Every auto repair applicant provides a state license number or federal EIN before a listing is reviewed. Credential details are checked and never published.

Questions to ask before you hire auto repair

• Will you call before adding work?
• Do you provide the old parts?
• What is the diagnostic charge?
